To talk about Hindu Weddings is to talk about emotion, about the complicity, the dispute and respect between family. Is to be fully surrendered and immersed with its traditions, colours and life.
You do have to experience to understand it.
We had the pleasure to document in Photography and Videography, the Lisbon Destination Hindu Punjab Wedding of Harshini & Arjun, a British couple.
These Indian couple elected 3 marvellous top spots in Lisbon to celebrate and give their knot: Quinta da Bella Vista in Sintra, Penha Longa Resort in Sintra and SUD Lisboa to celebrate and gather their union among all their closest family and friends.
The Chundri/Chunni ceremony (the oficial Hindu Engagement ceremony) and dinner, took place in the beautiful Quinta da Bella Vista in Sintra, surrounded by the beauty and raw nature of Sintra.
The second day, the Pithi ceremony, was held in the always majestic Penha Longa Resort in Sintra, an elegant historic palazzo style estate located in the heart of Cascais and Sintra Nature Reserve.
The third day, the Wedding Day, the Hindu religious ceremony took place in the beautiful ruins of Penha Longa Resort.
The cocktail, reception and party in SUD Lisboa venue, with it's amazing light, flavour and breeze of Tejo's river.
The Laranja Metade's Lisbon Wedding Photographers and Videographers team, experienced in Destination Indian Weddings in Portugal, documented the whole Wedding, through Photos and Films, in a natural and spontaneous approach these 3 long epic days.
The Event Planing and catering, were amazingly organised by the wonderful and talented team of Passage To India.
